# Toonify

> Toonify (https://toonify.io) is an AI mascot generator for brands. Describe a character, pick its moves, and download it as one lightweight animated file (Rive .riv or Lottie .json) that runs in iOS, Android, web, React, React Native and Flutter apps. No design or animation skills needed.

## What it does

- Generates a custom mascot image from a text description, starting from one of three bases: an animal (any animal the user describes, drawn sitting), a shape (square, circle or triangle with a face), or a character with two arms and two legs.
- Can suggest a mascot from a product link (website, Apple App Store or Google Play listing).
- Detects the face (and ears for animals) and rigs the character automatically; users can adjust it.
- Animates it with 11 built-in moves: idle, blink, wave, jump, happy, sad, dance, nod, shake, walk, surprised. Users can also describe a custom move in plain language.
- Exports every mascot as both Rive (.riv) and Lottie (.json). Files are usually a few hundred KB: much smaller and sharper than GIF or video.
- Includes ready-to-paste code and small SDK wrappers so a move plays with one line, for example `mascot.play("wave")`. Moves play once by default; looping is optional.
- Saves every mascot to the user's account so it can be reopened, edited and exported again.

## Pricing

- Free: 4 credits, claimed once per account (enough for 2 mascot images and one finished animated mascot).
- Paid: one-time credit purchases from $5 for 100 credits, in steps of 10 credits, up to 4000 credits ($200). $0.05 per credit. No subscription; credits never expire.
- Costs: a new or changed mascot image is 2 credits, a custom move is 1 credit. Auto-detect, built-in moves and exports are free.

## Good to know

- Commercial use: mascots users create can be used in their own apps, websites and marketing.
- Toonify does not draw well-known characters or other brands' mascots.
- Sign-in is with Google.
